I see the individual as a part of a larger system, which usually includes the family of origin.  Children are very impressionable.  What children repeatedly observe in their environment, they tend to imitate.  What children observe and imitate can either become life-long assets that enhance their lives, or they can become liabilities that cause difficulties and tend to impede life’s progress.  My goal as a therapist is to assist the client in discovering and benefiting from their assets and in reducing the liabilities.  This can be accomplished through the use of one, or more, of the many approaches to therapy that have been developed over the years.  While I am skilled at many different approaches to therapy, my technique is distinctly Christian. I believe in a holistic approach to health–one that includes mind, body, and spirit.
